On May 12, China Customs successfully hosted the BRICS Workshop on Customs Enforcement Cooperation virtually in Beijing. Representatives from BRICS Customs discussed and exchanged in-depth views on joint establishment of enforcement platforms for Liaison and for Capacity Building, "Smart" enforcement, priority areas for enforcement cooperation of BRICS Customs. The workshop has reached consensus on  further strengthening the BRICS Customs Enforcement Network , jointly building the solid BRICS Customs Defense Line against smuggling and actively contributing outcomes of enforcement cooperation to the upcoming BRICS Heads of Customs Administrations Meeting.
